The goal of the projects is to improve the safety of electric and autonomous vehicles by developing software based solutions that can easily be used in a vehicle ECU. The software will serve as a safety monitor to improve the safety of the vehicle.
Energy efficiency of Electric Vehicles
The goal of the projects is to improve energy efficiency by an optimized software solution by 5-10%.
Battery lifetime improvement in an Electric Vehicle
The goal of the projects is to offer software solutions that will improve the battery lifetime and hence the electric vehicle lifetime. The project focuses on developing software solutions in the areas such as thermal management and efficient use in the event of the faster charging need of an electric vehicle. This work helps in battery lifetime improvement and efficient use of the faster charging.
Patent and/or assessment of potential for dissemination and use
The goal of the projects is to create patents based on the ideas and software solutions either solely or together with the industries.
Collaboration and cooperation, dissemination of results and communication
The goal of the projects is to also cooperate with research institutions, industries and spread the knowledge on the focus areas. Create common patents and collaborate on adding software solutions in the vehicles and battery packs.
