Thermal Management system in automobiles or BESS containers is needed to maintain an operable temperature of entire vehicle including high voltage driveline components and cabin.
In order to control HV & LV auxilliaries such as pump, chiller, valves and heater, once again battery power is needed in BEVs. An efficient thermal system shall be able to manage the unwanted heat in the system while consuming as less battery power to run itself.
In our research project, We develop software methods for controlling the thermal system efficiently while finding a way to optimize the vehicle or BESS container temperature.
